Black Desert Online is a gorgeous, action-packed open-world MMORPG from Pearl Abyss, known for its deep character customization and a huge variety of activities beyond just combat. It's free to grab on Steam until December 2025, which is a sweet deal if you're into sprawling fantasy worlds. Just be aware it uses third-party DRM and requires a separate account, plus it's loaded with in-game purchases and DLCs that can enhance (or feel necessary for) the experience.
