Free dog samples are a real category: major pet food brands (Purina, Blue Buffalo, Wellness, Royal Canin, Hill's, Zignature) run consistent sampling programs because pet food is high-conviction (once a dog likes a food, owners stay loyal for years) and sampling is the cheapest way to convert. Beyond food, there's a steady supply of dog treats, training samples, supplements, grooming products, and accessories.
What's listed below is the current set of free dog samples FreebieAgent has scored: Wellness Protein Bowls full-size sample, Royal Canin Dog Food, Blue Buffalo's Meals Kit, Purina Pro Plan Supplements 30-count pack, Edgard & Cooper Treats Kit, Native Pet Omega Oil (with FREEGIFT code), Earth Rated pee pads (with NOLEAKS code), Dogsters Ice Cream for Dogs, the MIRANEST Jelly Sticks worth $120, Cookie Pal Treats after cashback, and a rotating set of PetSmart and Petco event freebies. Most ship in 1-3 weeks. None require a credit card.
The smartest move for free dog samples is to sign up for PetSmart's Treats rewards app, Petco's Pals Rewards, and Chewy's autoship discount programs; those generate ongoing freebies and discounts beyond the one-off brand-direct samples listed here.
Free dog samples are one of the most reliable categories in the free-sample world: major pet food brands run consistent year-round sampling because the conversion economics work. If you have a dog and you're not already enrolled in the major pet retailer rewards apps (PetSmart Treats, Petco Pals, Chewy), do that first; then claim the brand-direct samples listed below as they become available. New offers go live weekly. For cat owners, see the free cat samples page; for general pet products that don't fit either dog or cat, search across the broader pet category. Our guide to free samples by mail in 2026 covers what else is shipping right now, pet food included.
