FreebieAgent score
“Unusual and mission-driven offer with a solid organization behind it. Low score reflects the conditional nature (members prioritized, potential stockouts) and long fulfillment timeline, but the authenticity and educational value make it worth featuring.”

What FreebieAgent noticed
This is a legit offer from a respected nonprofit devoted to restoring American Chestnuts, which were nearly wiped out by blight in the early 1900s. The catch: these nuts aren't blight-resistant themselves, so they're meant for experimental home planting or breeding stock. Demand can be high, so non-members aren't guaranteed nuts, but the foundation will contact you before shipping to confirm you're ready. It's a real freebie with genuine conservation value, not a marketing stunt.
You fill these in yourself on the brand's site.
